SUMMARY
Development of in-building wireless solutions, systems and concepts in RF communications systems particularly as they apply to commercial, public safety and health care applications;
Experience developing Distributed Antenna System designs and Bill of Materials to meet wireless coverage criteria;
Solid understanding of RF fundamentals, antennas, and be knowledgeable and experienced with R&D antenna test methods as they relate to mobile/portable products;
Cellular broadband data expertise (CDMA, EVDO).
Knowledge of RF Fundamentals, antenna test methods, 150 MHz to 5.8 GHz RF antenna systems, modeling tools (Motorola Enterprise Planner, IBWave, Ansoft, HFSS, CST, etc.) product integration;
Ability to coordinate with cellular/PCS carriers, public safety agencies and wireless LAN engineers for integrated service on a single infrastructure;
Ability to work with carrier RF technicians to install, test and optimize carrier performance;
Ability to perform system quality control testing including recording of RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) data for all service providers operating in any site;
Experience testing system performance using devices including but not limited to hand held test phone, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and continuous wave (CW) generators;
Knowledge of Data Security principles, as they pertain to secure digital data transmission;
Practical knowledge in the following products is preferred, but not mandatory:
ADC, Andrew, LGC, InnerWireless, Mobile Access Networks, PowerWave.
Design experience with AutoCAD, Wireless Valley and IB Wave also desirable:
Strong technical communications skills;

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
RF/Radio Technical Leader for Distributed Antenna Systems, including Public Safety, Cellular and WIFI Access Point products (802.11 a/b/g/n)
Provide technical expertise to end-users and Tri-Power Group employees;
Assist Business Development Managers (Sales) with technical RFPs;
Provide regular reports on the data collected to in-building engineering department;
Perform repairs on DAS equipment and DAS support equipment when defects are identified;
Make recommendations on system modifications and repairs based on data and observations;
HW design of Systems, PCBA, & module level, W/ emphasis on RF design/Performance, and physical placement and design;
Develop RF link budgets and system performance predictions based upon equipment selections, transmission protocols, geographic and construction considerations;
Commission each DAS system for optimal RF signal strength and quality;
Conduct site visits and performs take-offs. Review data to determine material and labor requirements and prepare itemized estimates.
Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for management purposes such as preparing bids, selecting vendors, determining cost effectiveness, planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
Involved in approval, qualification, and selection of Electronic components for new designs and second sources;
System-level design validation testing of Radios, Antennas;
Consults with clients, vendors, and others;
Assists Sales with development of proposals and presentations;
Assists Operations with implementation and trouble-shooting of solutions;

COMPUTER TECHNICIAN
We are seeking a full-time computer technician. Candidate must have 3+ years proven experience. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable with computer hardware, laser printers, desktop and notebook repairs, routers, switches and firewalls, HP certifications a plus. Excellent customer communication skills along with a solid background of current Microsoft operating systems are critical to the success of this position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Hours of required support is 8:00 to 5:00pm (steady)
•A+ Certification
•Responsible for the repair of computer equipment that include micro-computers, laptops and a variety of printers.
•Provide user support when hardware or software conflicts occur on desktops.
•Assist with the setup and configuration of new computer equipment, and the integration with the O/S.
•Provide basic Network support that will involve areas such as resolving a clogged print queue to installing new network software on the workstations.
•Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of computer related equipment.
•Punctuality to work each day and prepared to work scheduled work hours
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Aid with the organizational efforts and maintaining policies and procedures in the I.S. Department.
•Potentially serve in the On-Call Rotation
•Professional appearance.
•On-site repair at customer’s location.
•Ability to lift 40lbs.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
•Minimum of 2-3 years experience in computer repair or equivalent support role.
•Knowledge of current technical standards as related to computers, laptops, printers, and basic network technology.
•Comprehensive knowledge base regarding hardware and software products.
•Extensive knowledge base regarding MS-DOS and O/S.
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
•Can deal effectively with a variety of computer user problems.
•Has a strong aptitude in the IS field.
•Exhibits patience and has strong communication skills.
